Somehow, Mandy's... different (I'm not just saying that to not offend you, I actually think it's cute). The "man" part doesn't seem so obvious. But it's the first thing I thought of when I saw "Manessa." I can't really explain it.

Like the poster below said, the natural nickname for "Manessa" seems to be "Manny." Ick.
