I had a friend named Elke pronounced Elk-ah, however I believe the actress Elke Sommer pronounced it Elk-ee.

How would you or how have you heard it pronounced?

Elk-uh is what I've known, but I could be wrong.

El-kuh

Reminds me of the girl from Real World. Hers might have been spelled Elka though, I'm not sure.

Elke is Dutch and pronounced Ell-que. English-speakers always mess it up.

In Belgium it's pronounced Elk-uh. And it's a very common name here.

I live in Germany, it's not uncommon around me, and it's ELL-kuh. I think it's pretty.

It looks to me like it'd be pronounced Elk with a silent 'e' on the end
