I like it a lot, and it's my great-grandmother's maiden name. I've though about changing my last name to that as a feminist move, but I actually like mine (and Lindsay Emerson sounds weird) and I don't want my dad to think it's because I don't like him or something, because I do. But I'd like to use it as a middle name for one of my kids. Jack Emerson is really growing on me -- I don't think I've ever paired them together before.
