It's weird. When I think about it objectively, I like it and thinks it's pretty. But my first association of that name is of a ditzy, slightly slutty airhead blonde. I must have seen it on a sitcom at some point. Crazy.
It was one of my choices as a girl's name for the baby I just had. I have a male friend with the name and absolutely love it, but I wouldn't name a boy it, personally.
It's good because Camille Saint-Saƫns (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saint-Saens) is good. Even though he's a man. But that doesn't matter. Meredith Willson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Meredith_Willson) was also a man. I think - especially these days - anything goes in terms of what you name your baby, whether or not the name is associated with one gender over the other. I'm seriously considering a gender-bending name for my child.
