I also really like the name Lucy Anne, but considering my dog was named Lucy, I could never name a kid after a dog, even if she wass the best dog in the world.

I like a lot of traditional/Jewish sounding names but apparently in Jewish tradition you're not supposed to name kids after living relatives and my relatives (and those of the person whose babies I'd have) took all the good boys' names.

Alia is pronounced A-lee-ah, and Mieke is pronounced Mee-kah (it's short for Michaela, it's Dutch I guess).
