Why IS Oliver on both your most loved and most hated lists? The only reason I can think of is you love the name Oliver, but hate someone you know called it.

It's a selfish reason, really.

My brother's name is Oliver, and he's been alive for almost twenty years, and I love him, so I love the name. I'm a little angry at the surge in popularity (for no logical reason, of course, just selfishly) so I always think, "No! That's my brother's name, not yours!" Ahaha.

Hahahaha, I actually have the same problem. My brother's name is Michael, which (a) I love, and (b) I'd love to give to my son as a middle name in honor of him, because Mike's my best friend. So I get really annoyed when people are like "Michael is such a filler name! Why would you give your son a middle name that EVERYONE he's friends with is going to have?"

So, I get annoyed when people use it, lol.
