Chloe wouldn't be bad, and I could even deal with Chloe Ryan, but the spelling is awful. Brayden is equally as terrible (although somewhat better, which should tell you everything you need to know about how much I hate the spelling of 'Khloe'); I like James.
I really really really hate Brayden. Cayden I can SOMETIMES deal with, Aidan I don't like but I can accept, and Hayden I even like. But I just think Brayden is sooo ugly.
Chloe can be too cutsie on some kids, but it's adorable on others. My sister is a Chloe and while I hated the idea of naming her Chloe at first, she's eighteen months now and it just fits her.
But Khloe? That's just horrible. And Ryan could be cute, but Ryann? I might not be a big fan of Brayden James, but it's not too horrible. I'd get rid of the "y", but I'm not wildly opposed.
Khloe Ryann just makes me want to ask if she's been drinking bleach or if just the pregnancy is messing with her mind.
I wouldn't mind Braden James too much, but there are too many long a sounds for my taste. Plus, it's really close to the name of an ex-boyfriend of mine, so on a personal level, nooooooooo.
I can't decide whether Chloe (no other spelling, just Chloe) is cute or not. I knew a girl named Ryan. It fit her, but I think you'd have to be a certain type to pull it off.
Brayden's not what i'd choose but it's not too bad. James, well it's plain but it's a good enough name. Khloe I like when it's spelt Chloe. Ryann is a boys name and whats up with the double 'n'?
So i think the boys name is ok, the girls name would be pretty if it was spelt right and she chose a more feminie middle name.
I don't like the meaning of Brayden (http://www.behindthename.com/name/brayden)- "Variant of Braden"- "From an Irish surname which was derived from Ó Bradáin meaning "descendent of Bradan". The name Bradan derives from a Gaelic word meaning "salmon"." Or the meaning of James (http://www.behindthename.com/name/james)- form of Jacob- "supplanter". Also there's the BJ initials to beware of.
I like Chloe (http://www.behindthename.com/name/chloe) and it's beautiful meaning of "green shoot", but if the Khloe variation is supposed to appear more like it's pronounced I don't understand why it still includes the h. Also I don't understand the spelling of Ryann. It seems like Ryan (http://www.behindthename.com/name/ryan) which is a very masculine name- "From an Irish surname which was derived from Ó Riain meaning "descendent of Rian". The given name Rian probably means "little king" (from Irish rí "king" combined with a diminutive suffix)."

Date: 2007-11-05 07:57 pm (UTC)Is Ryann supposed to be pronounced RYE-an, or ree-ANN? If it's the latter, it should be spelled differently (Rianne or Ryanne) to make that clear.
Otherwise, I like the names themselves.
