baby girl name needed!

Brand new member! Hello :)

I'm having a bit of a baby name crisis. I'm due in March with our second little girl. Our first is Anna Reagan, and she goes by Reagan (not necessarily by choice, but we had picked those two names picked out years before she was conceived and Reagan Anna just didn't flow as well).

I've really gotten stuck on the name Noelle. I really like it (though I am still open for other suggestions). The thing is, I want it to be her first name if possible. I keep getting comments on how we named our oldest - "Why not make it a first name? Is that a Southern thing?" etc etc. It annoys me.

I can't match it up with anything! Help? My husband wants something more traditional to be paired with it, so not something like Noelle Evangeline or anything like that. It sounds like it would make a better middle name, but I'm really determined to find SOMETHING that works. If not, maybe I'll just give up and make it a middle name and either call her by that anyway, or find a first name we like better.

*EDIT: Thoughts on Noelle Elizabeth? So many people have suggested it (not just here), and Elizabeth is my husband's favorite name - Noelle is mine. It flows pretty well with our last name and it's getting more stuck in my mind, lol. What do you think?

The deceased mother of my main protagonist in my NaNo novel is Noelle Meredith. But really, I think Noelle can go with a lot of things. Noelle Elizabeth would also work. I'd stay away from -belle/-elle names, but anything else I think would sound okay with it.

Maybe Katherine would work better, as I'm rolling them off, the 2-2 doesn't always work the best. Katherine would be 2-3, then.

I'm really liking Noelle Elizabeth (or Elisabeth). I didn't mention this in my post, but my husband loves the name Elizabeth and wants it in there somewhere. It flows well with our last name. I just didn't mention it in hopes of getting a good variety to choose from, but it's been suggested twice now which is cementing it more in my mind! haha.
Kathryn is pretty too, though!

I would choose it, but it is a name of a parent of one of my student's and I think that would be weird.

for some reason i think it sounds best with a two syllable middle name with the emphasis on the second syllable, like marie or elaine.

Just for reference value, Katie Holmes' (Joey from Dawson's Creek) full name is Katherine Noelle :) and I have to say I like it! given that I'm not a big fan of Noelle.
I do think it flows best as a middle name, and I personally like using the middle name as first, I don't know why :)
For example, I think Anna Reagan is brilliant.

Noelle Elizabeth sounds really fine, in this order, and it work for both getting it your way :D

Noelle Elizabeth is pretty, the double 'el' sound (NoELLE ELizabeth) just annoys me a little.
