i was talking to my  mom today and she said if she'd had another son she'd have named him.....

(so glad she only had us two - Kimber Leigh & Hunter Neal)
she also said she likes the name Lincoln.. (i think this may be my fault since i got her hooked on prison break)


and in talking to my grandmother i learned that my grandfather insisted on naming all of their kids.. 
she had other names picked out but the only one she remembers is Keith Allen (instead of Ricky Layne)..
so it's his fault they ended up with such crappy names.. lmao!

Awesome. I really like Malcolm, but I'm so not feeling Gomez. If my mother had had a third girl, she would have been Wilhelmina Gretchen. Thankfully, she just had Katherine Elizabeth and Amelia Margaret. Then she went all trendy on me and named her dogs Avalanche, Makenna Rose, and Murdoch Hunter.

I actually like the name Lincoln. With all of the Taylors, Tylers, Jacksons, Madisons, Regans, and Carters out there, why not Lincoln?

Lincoln is becoming really popular now too. This is the 3 or 4th time I have heard it since I became pregnant.

How funny, if this baby I'm pregnant with now would have turned out to be a boy I was going to name it Lincoln. I had never thought of it before until Prison Break, and have LOVED it ever since. I just couldn't think of a good middle name though. But LUCKILY I finally got my baby girl! (I have 2 boys already.)

my grandfather named my father & his brothers. my grandmom didn't have any say, basically. i wonder if that was more common back then? my dad & uncles were born in the 60s-early 70s.

apparently so.. my dad, aunts and uncle were born in the mid to late fifties.. (glad it's not like that anymore.. i have my own naming ideas and plan on it being a cooperative effort..)

Also...too bad your grandmother wasn't the one naming. Keith Allen is much better sounding (IMO) than Ricky Layne.
