WDYT of the name Laurentina? (prn LAH-oo-ren-tee-na in italian, but could also work as Lauren-tina, I guess). I personally wouldn't use it because I hate Lauren after someone named that, but just wanted to feel out you guys' opinions.
And wdyt of Laurel? Can someone actually pronounce it without getting a tongue cramp or is it just me? :P

Ultimately, what combination do you like best (or mind the least) among these? Edit: I'm thinking of these as boy names.

Ryan Taylor
Jordan Ryan
Ryan Jordan

Laurentina sounds pretty on an Italian, but on, say, an American, I think it would look/sound like the parents had named her Lauren Tina, which has that sort of annoying ex-girlfriend sound to it.

There's something very pretty about the word laurel, but I don't like it as a name. It may have to do with an annoying girl I went to school with.

I like Ryan, but I'm not a big fan of either Taylor or Jordan. I like the sound of Ryan Jordan best, though.

love the name Laurel. It's on my list of girls names. It's my way of getting my mom's name in there without actually having her name on my list (it's Laura)

Laurentina I'm not too sure about. It feels too much like seperate names and all seems like it's be a mouthful/hard to pronounce.

Ryan Taylor. Are those for a girl or a boy?

I assumed boy, but I actually like Ryan Taylor better for a girl. I also only like Jordan on a girl for some reason (but I like Ryan and Taylor on both).

LAH-oo-ren-tee-na? Nah. LAU rhymes with COW. Lau-ren-TEE-na.

Not from any state :-p

But my dad is from Italy and my second cousin Laurentina still lives there.

She lives in Bari, and I can assure you, the first part of her name definitely rhymes with COW and how apt I sometimes think that is I leave as an exercise for the reader... :)

After I vaguely mentioned thinking my name (Laurah) sounded too feminine, my very-third-wave-feminist friends have called me Laurel. I'm not sure what I think of it, but I like these people so it has good connotations to me.
