I don't have high hopes of passing on family names...some are weird.

Grandparents: Andrew George, Claudia Laverne, Ammie Louise, Clarence Mervin.
I only know one granddad's sisters... Florine, and Roxanne.
My aunts are Marsha, Cecilia Miriam, Christine.
My parents are John Thomas and Eveyln Lavernve. aha! My maternal grandmother's mother was Laverne. passed to my grandmother, passed to my mother. My mothers parents nicknamed her Pat when she was very young. And Laverne stayed dead and buried there.
I am Katharine-Paige, my brothers James Eric and Andrew Christian.

My Hubby's family: his grandparents were/are James and Alice, and Freeman and Janet.
parents are Jeffrey and Jamie Ann.
aunts/uncles: Mary, Bonnie, Kathleen, Gary, Penny Ann, Lu Ann, Michael.
His siblings are Stephen Edward, Sarah Ann, Matthew Merritt.
hubby is Andrew James.

My dad is big into geneology. We have a family Bible, from my maternal side, dating back to the early 1800's. The family name was Lown, and they had several children two of whom were Andrew and Katharine. My parents never saw this Bible until I was in college. So its pretty neat that they chose two very old family names, and even ended up spelling my name the same.
I also know that William Ayres Holliday immigrated to the new world in 1766 from Ireland. he son found his way to Mississippi, and settled in what would become Copiah County, where my grandmother resided today!

it's weird how your husband's names are a mixture of your two brothers' names.

weirder still, neither one of my brothers go by their first names. so weird coincidence causes no confusion!
