I came across a family today.....

Mom - Judith B_____
Dad - Billy Judith B______
Son - Billy Judith B_______JR
Son - Billy Judith B______ III
Son Billy Judith B_______IV
Son - Kethian B__________
Daughter - Khrystyl B__________

With the exception of George Foreman, I didn't realize people actually gave their sons all the same name....I wonder why Kethian got left out?

maybe they got tired of the name Billy Judith when they got to the last son. poor thing...I wonder if he feels left out or relieved.

Kethian is a dumb name but I bet he's thanking his lucky stars that he's not Billy Judith number five. I know I would be. Some things are better to be left out of.

It made me realize that I'm not sure I've ever seen a single S&S icon before. Everyone's up on the Mr. Darcy icons, but where's the Dashwood love? Edward Ferrars? And what about Colonel Brandon? I thought everyone loved Alan Rickman!

The Duggars have 17 children, all with "J" names, including the Dad - Jim Bob. Mom, Michelle, is odd-girl-out.

I think one of the things that bothers me the most is the names that sound so similar: Joy-Anna and Johannah and Jana; Jeremiah and Jedidiah and Josiah. The spelling of Jinger aggravates the heck out of me. The only names I really like are Jackson and Joshua.

Yeah, I think one of the weirdest things about that list is Jinger. There are sooooooo many legitimate J names out there, so what the hell? When I first heard of this family in the news a few years ago (and a few children less), I remember seeing the name written down somewhere and everyone reading the article saying, "Jeen-gur?!"

Since traditionally those titles would be given to someone born to the father numbered one below them, this implies all kinds of incest to me. Poor Khrystyl, indeed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this is just another case of people who shouldn't be allowed to name their own children. That's just the first thing that comes to mind to me. Especially since these names are so trashy.
