Montse (girl- prn. Mon-say)
Than (boy)
Ja'Mea (girl- prn. Ja-mee-ah)
A'Kia (girl- prn. Ah-key-ah)
Kristian (boy)
Jayceon (boy, prn. like Jason)
Gershwin (unsure of if this is boy or girl, was in the credits)

that reminds me, what do you think of naming children after famous musicians/actors/etc... ie: Coltrane, Gershwin, Armstrong, Gable, Bogart, Monroe, Lennon... what other last names of old hollywood actors or older musicians do you think make okay first or middle names?

Jayceon is sooooo lame.
I like the name Kristian, but spelled with a Ch.

I like when people name kids after famous actors/musicians when it's not really obvious and if someone explains it to you you can go 'oh, that clever' or whatever but otherwise it's not immediately apparent. You know? I don't know..

I'm pretty sure that Gershwin is a boy's name.

Kristian, but with Ch, is the only one I like.

I love love the name Lennon so much. It's on my middle name list though, because my brother has a similar name and it seems...a little too obvious as a first name, I guess =)
Those names you got from tv are pretty awful. Although Gershwin & Montse aren't so strange, I believe. Gerswhin is definitely a boy ;)

The famous-last-name-as-first-name thing seems kind of pretentious to me. If I met a kid named Warhol, I'd really just want to punch his parents in the face. As for Gershwin specifically, I just think it's a harsh, ugly word, so I don't like it as a first name on either sex.

Coltrane would strike me as pretty funny now, too, after it was used as a racial slur in The Royal Tenenbaums.

If they're not obvious (ie, Miles, not Davis; Lennon as a middle name, but not for John), they're okay. But when they're obvious, I think it's weird.
