I think I like the -h version better. What do you guys think?

Also, I heard the name on the news, how does Cohen sound? Do you think of Borat immediately or no?

I like the spelling, Nora, and I really like the name.

Cohen is ok, it makes me think of the OC.

Cohen makes me think of Conan O'Brien. But i think someone more involved with the outside world will think of Borat. give it a couple years...

I prefer Nora - no idea why. Cohen reminds me of the Cohen Brothers.

Norah.

Cohen doesn't make me think of Borat immediately, but I do consider it to be exclusively a last name.

I think I like Cohen, I've also seen it Koen and Coen, and read one place that (the last two) it's an aboriginal name meaning thunder, which I also quite like.

Cohen doesn't really work as a first name to me. I don't immediately think of Sacha Baron-Cohen because it's a pretty common surname.

Nora is a bit old-ladyish I think. Less so with the H.

I thought of the composer Cohen. And while I see it as a last name, I don't see why it wouldn't work as a first name too.

I prefer Nora, myself.

I think of The OC when I hear Cohen. Anytime I hear a kid named that I will forever think of Adam Brody. And I don't even like that show.

I like Norah better. =]

I actually think of the OC when I hear Cohen...but I do like it.

And I prefer Norah.

Cohen is a big no. It is strictly a last name. I go to a Jewish school and like half the kids have the last name Cohen.

I like Nora much better than Norah.

My friend is having a baby in NOvember and she is going to call him Cohen. Cohen Luke. She was going to spell in Coen, but I am glad she put the H back in!

I like Nora. Norah = Norah Jones.

Cohen reminds me of whiny, dorky Seth Cohen from the OC. Trendalicious!

I agree, I personally prefer it with an h, but I think it's great without an h as well.

I like Nora better but Norah is also nice.

LOVE Nora--either way, but I'd probably use Nora.

Nono as a first name.

Nora is one of my favorites. I hate how it looks with the h on there. Not sure why.

Cohen immediately makes me think of musician Leonard Cohen. And then, although it's spelled differently, the Coen brothers filmmakers. It's so similar to my last name (Coin, which is pronounced as you'd expect, but which is often mispronounced as thought it were spelled like Cohen) that I have trouble seeing it as a first name, but it's not a terrible idea.

I've read that Nora can be a nickname for Eleanor, which is nice, too, in my opinion. I prefer Nora to Norah.

Cohen is a very Jewish surname, so if you're considering that, and you're not Jewish, you might want to be aware of that.
