Parks really are the best places to hear some awful names.
I heard two yesterday that killed me...

Autry (b)(sister was Ashton)

and

Packard (b)

Packard could have possibly been Packer. Either way....
And I feel like Autry is always going to be mistaken for Audrey.

Autrey sounds like an incorrect pronunciation of Audrey, I agree. Though, if given the choice, I would choose Autry, probably because it's further from 'tawdry'.

It was on a boy? Then, no.

If I heard that sib set I would definitely think that Ashton was the boy and Autry was the girl. Because like you said, Autry is very similar to Audrey.

Packard is..strange but not too bad I guess.

This post reminds me that I keep overhearing the name of a little kid who lives near me, and I'm almost certain that his name is... Johnson. Truly unfortunate.

Like Gene Autry? I kind of like it.

Packard is sooooo bad though. Reminds me of Hewlett-Packard.

Autry?
I really like the names Audrey & Aubrey, so that just seems like a misspelling to me =\.
Packard is just stupid. It reminds me of this electronics company called Packard Bell.

I thought of Hewlett-Packard too.
