Yes, although it is quite beautiful, Carly seems weak and pansy-like. The K and ie take Carly and add strength and assertiveness, implying that the person is lively, dignified, creative but not kr8tyv, and destined for greatness.

Violet's been really growing on me lately =)
I've only ever heard 'Brogan' on a Scottish girl. And even though I thought it was kinda pretty, it sounded way too much like 'broken'.

Brogan is such a strange name. I knew a couple who named their baby Brogan Wesley Br___n. It is a baby girl... :(

There are a few Islanders at this school...I believe Sione is Tongan.
But I'm still not sure how to prn it.

I like Tiana and Sione, probably because I'm fond of Pacific Island names :D
I have a good friend called Meritiana (merry-tee-ah-naa) who goes by Tiana sometimes, I think its pretty :)
Sione (see-own-nee) is lovely too but is quite popular here, and the title of a fabulous movie called Sione's Wedding
