Do you suppose Sian is pronounced like the color cyan, or some strange version of Sean, or something else entirely?

By spelling, I'd say Neave is pronounced neev or nee-veh, but it also might be nev (like Neve) or nayv or something. It looks pretty written down, but I don't think I like any of the pronunciations I can think of.

I went to highschool with a Sian, it is pronounced like Sean (but it's a girl's name).

Personal opinion, but...I think Sarah Anne was the only lucky one out of the bunch.

It's an Irish name that is actually spelled Niamh. And yes, it's pronounced 'Neev'.
