Names I've been thinking about lately... WDYT?

Ledia (lay-dee-ah)
Helicia
Clea (clay-ah)
Catriona
Nerina
Theonie
Abri
Cassia
Athaliah
Atalya

I'm not having another baby any time soon, but I love thinking about it. If I have another girl down the line, I'm pretty sure I'd go with Thessaly. I'm not sure if it's too close to my daughter, Cressa, though. WDYT?

I feel like commenting on all of them 8)

Ledia (lay-dee-ah): It's ok. Makes me think of Lady a little too much.
Helicia: I actually like this. Strange!
Clea (clay-ah): Love.
Catriona: No...I don't like the trion-part. I don't know why.
Nerina: Not my style at all.
Theonie: Nonono. It's crazy, IMO. Like Theo & Leonie together.
Abri: Hm. I prefer Aubrey.
Cassia: Really pretty!
Athaliah: Indifferent =)
Atalya: Kinda pretty =)!

LOVE Helicia - never heard it before though, so is it a hard or a soft "c"? Also, do you know what it means? (Is it something to do with Greece, ie. Hellenic)
Clea (although I would have pronounced it CLEE-ah) and Catriona are also nice.

That's the way I was hoping it was pronounced, and it has such a great meaning too!

Thessaly in full doesn't sound too close to Cressa, though it might be if you were to use Thessa for short. I love the name, though, so I'd say go for it. You could always shorten it to Aly instead, or just never shorten it.

A Ledia would get teased--it sounds like a certain part of the female anatomy.

I like Nerina and Cassia a lot. Cassia sounds nice with Cressa--not too close, but like they go together.

Mm, I don't really like any of them. Ledia seems like a kr8yv version of Lydia. I knew a Clea who pronounced it like Clee-uh, and I like it better that way.

The name Ledia with the "lay-dee-ah" pronunciation makes me think of Kate Hudson on Almost Famous who goes by Pennylane because her mom named her Lady and she hates it. lol.
