I did not combine any different spellings or nicknames or anything, what you gave me is what went on the list. If you put a full name and then a nickname next to it, I only took into account the full name. If you put two different spellings I picked one and put it in. If you gave me middle names I ignored them. I really hope I got everybody! Let me know what trends you notice, and if anybody REALLY wants to know all the names that got a single vote, let me know!

Girls Names:

The winner by a landslide with 9 people: Elizabeth
5 people: Audrey, Eleanor
4 people: Amelia, Caroline, Charlotte, Claire, Grace, Juliet, Margaret
3 people: Abigail, April, Catherine, Eloise, Helena, Isabella, Ivy, Lucy, Meredith, Olivia, Sophia
2 people: Addison, Anabelle, Anne, Camille, Evelyn, Felicity, Gemma, Gwendolyn, Hannah, Helen, Jane, Josephine, June, Linnea, Lorelei, Louisa, Lydia, Madeleine, Maeve, Mya, Michelle, Naomi, Norah, Petra, Phoenix, Riley, Robyn, Rosalind, Rose, Rosemary, Sophie, Tessa, Thessaly, Victoria

Boys Names:

Tied for first with 8 people: Alexander, Oliver
7 People: James, William
6 People: Asher, Edward
5 People: Gabriel, Julian, Logan, Lucas
4 People: Elijah, Elliot, Henry, Ian, Jacob, Jesse, Jonah, Nathan, Noah
3 People: Adam, Andrew, Austin, Benjamin, Cameron, Evan, John, Harvey, Isaac, Jack, Joshua, Jude, Kyle, Landon, Matthew, Nicholas, Owen, Peter, Ryan, Sebastian
2 People: Aidan, Arlo, Caleb, Charles, Christian, Colin, Daniel, David, Finn, Jonas, Justin, Lee, Liam, Louis, Luca, Micah, Michael, Milo, Otis, Robert, Rory, Sam, Samuel, Seth, Silas, Slade, Taylor, Tobias

Okay if you combine what are (to me) essentially the same name (or at least very similar), here is what we got:

Girls: Elizabeth/Eliza/Elisabeth (11), Catherine/Katherine/Katherina/Katrina (6), Eloise/Louisa/Louise (6), Sophia/Sofia/Sophie (6), Rose/Rosemary/Rosaalie/Rosalind (6), Caroline/Carolina (5), Claire/Clare (5), Juliet/Juliette (5), Margaret/Margarita (5), Helena/Helen (5), Isabella/Isabelle/Isobel (5), Lucy/Lucille (4), Gwen/Gwendolyn/Gwyneth (4), Kayla/Kaylea/Keila/Kyla (4), Camille/Camilla (3), Madeleine/Madeline (3), Alessandra/Alexandra/Alexandria (3), Julia/Juliana/Julianna (3), Alison/Allyson (2), Bronwen/Bronwyn (2), Johanna/Johannah (2), Sara/Sarah (2), Vivian/Vivienne (2)

Boys: Billy/William (8), Lucas/Luca/Luke (7), Nathan/Nathanial/Nathaneal (6), Jonas/Jonah (6), Benjamin/Benedict/Benny (5), Ian/Iain (5), Nicolas/Nicholas (4), Sam/Samuel (4), Mikiah/Micah (3), Aiden/Aidan (3), Jack/Jackson (3), Brady/Brody (2), Connor/Conor (2), August/Augustus (2), Beck/Beckett (2), Jeremy/Jeremiah (2), Rowan/Rowen (2)

How did the SSA top 10 do on our list?
boys: Jacob (4), Michael (2), Joshua (3), Ethan (1), Matthew (2) Daniel (2), Christopher (0), Andrew (3), Anthony (0), William (7)
girls: Emily (0), Emma (1), Madison (0), Isabella (3), Ava (1), Abigail (3), Olivia (3), Hannah (2), Samantha (0)

Things I noticed:
The only variant of Aiden/Brayden/Jayden/Caden we have is Aidan/Aiden!!
The "unisex" names are (only names on both list): Riley, Rowen/Rowan and Phoenix
The boys top 10 SSA did way better than the girls on our list

I wouldn't call Emma trendy. Popular, yes, but trendy is something more like MacKenzie, Aidan or Addison, not something as classical as Emma.

I agree.

I disagree partly. Trendy is a popular but legit name, such as Emma or Grace. Trendeigh/Tryndy is McKenzie or Addison (masculine surnames for girls, spelt wrong, etc.)

Wow! Thank you so much for doing this! It is really great to see what people really favor on the site. I am also glad to see that most of my names were not favored twice or more :)

How long did this take you?

Haha. The only names of mine that are even listed are in the "same name type" category (Kaylea and Brody) and the unisex names "Phoenix." I'm not surprised at all, just entertained.

I really appreciate you taking the time do this, it's really an interesting thing to look at!

I'm glad to see that a lot of the awful trends don't appear so much on this list. :)

I'm surprised not to see Stella on this list. Seems like a few weeks ago, everyone loved it, but now there's nary a Stella in sight... Same with Atticus.

Atticus was my top name! :)

Not a fan of Stella though.

There are lots of names I love that aren't in my top 5. Five isn't very many!

Thanks for doing this! Must've been so much work ;)
It surprises me that Audrey is so popular. It's not on my list, but it never struck me as a particularly popular name. Not in general, and not in this community. Interesting!
