I am a big fan of the name Wesley for a boy, so I have a hard time pinning this similar name on a girl.... Maybe you would like the name Jocelyn on a girl, seeing as it has a similar feel as Weslynn..... Besides, the nn Josie is SOOO cute. Just my two cents. ;)

Oh, but if I could pick which of these two names a girl would get, I would vote for Weslynn.

There is an area near where I grew up called West Lynn. I think it is a very strange name.

Weslynn is slightly better, but it just seems like a fake female verison of Wesley.

I knew a couple that gave their baby girl a unisex first name and middle name Wesley. They were shocked when everyone thought the child was a boy :P

Ew, even worse, you're combining names. Lynn by itself is ...ok. I don't like it, but it's not painful. It's bad enough to smash it with another name, but leaving the y instead of an i just looks trashy. IMO, anyway.

Me too! Anything ending in -lyn, -lynn, -ley, -leigh, when combined with a random first syllable just sounds awful and contrived to me.
