Ideally, I'd like to have the 'twin gene' that runs in my family and have a boy and a girl. Names?:

Conor Allen (Allen is after my fiance's grandfather who passed away last year) and Jaime Noella.

What are your opinions?

<3 Amber

EDIT: I should've explained my reason behind the spelling of my future daughter's name- "J'aime" is French for 'I love'. A large part of my family is French, so I'm drawing from that. :) Thanks for all your thoughts!

I like the name Jaime because it is unisex. The two names together sound good but when you say their names people might think they are twin boys or you have two boys. Personallym I like the spelling Jamie for a girl because Jaime is the way to spell James in Spanish.

Conor Allen is just beautiful. I've never seen the name Jaime for a girl but it sounds good to me.

I prefer Connor like this, but maybe Connor Allen would be too sing-songy. I'm not sure.

Jaime Noella is quite pretty, even as much as I don't like Jamie on a girl.
I slightly prefer the Jaime spelling, after a girl on the Pussycat Dolls reality :P although like other people said, it's actually spanish and male for James

I like Connor Allen (with two n's), but I'm really not a fan of Jaime at all. First of all, I've always thought Jaime was the masculine spelling of the name, and second, I've always hated it anyway. Noella is cute, though.

Connor is pretty trendy/popular right now, but within the next few years, it'll (hopefully) probably die down a little bit.

I like both. Jaime isn't my style and both should be spelled differently, Jamie and Connor.

I like them both, they sound great, together as well as apart.

Jaime is the masculine spelling, Jamie is the feminine spelling.
I think Noella is pretty.

J'aime is French for "I love", but it pronounced completely differently from Jaime in English. If you're French, why not pick a French name? If you went to France and introduced your child with the proper pronunciation, people would be as confused as if... as if you said, in America, "This is my daughter, I Love."

Aimee (accent over the first e, which I have no clue how to type) means beloved and is an actual name.

Also, Jaime is the correct spelling of Jamie. It is pronounced Jamie and much more poetic than Jamie.

I think both of those names are run of the mill ordinary, and for some reason I want to say "Conor" as "Cone or."

I'm pretty sure that J'aime means "I like" and J'adore means "I love". Then again, I'm only a second year French student, but that's just what I've heard!

The verb aimer can mean either "to like" or "to love". There's not one exact translation. Adorer is closest to "to adore", obviously. So there's no exact equivalents, but if you were to say J'aime, it could easily be translated as "I love".
