Just a couple of names from my daughters kindy.

Saffron and Rogan (girl/boy sib-set)
Torrin (boy)
Kartier (girl)

I only remembered the other day that my sisters and I went to school with 2 brothers who had quite distinctive names.  Their last name was
Hollywood and their first names were  Paris and Sampson.   So  Paris Hollywood and Sampson Hollywood.

Saffron? Oh my. A spice used often in my MIL's cooking...her Indian cooking...

I only like Torrin.

When will parents realize that naming their kids after luxury brands is an extremely tacky practice?

Cartier would've have been bad enough, being a brand and all, but Kartier is.. duh, a lot worse.

I don't like Torrin because it sounds too much like 'torrid'.
Saffron is pretty, but I don't like Rogan

Is Kartier supposed to be pronounced like Cartier? Because that seems wrong.

And I rather like Saffron.

Kartier? That's klassy. I know someone who named her children Korona and Vittawn (yes, after Louis).

Saffron makes me think of the daughter on "Absolutely Fabulous," except they always called her "Saffy."
