Oct. 6th, 2007 06:50 pmI am a member of a pet forum. A fellow member is a culinary student. She posted pictures of a few cakes that she has done. A couple are birthday cakes. The names on them are Xitlali and Kythzia. How do those sound? Xitlali doesn't seem too bad. :)
I was flipping through channels on the television. There was a woman named Beryl on one of the shows. Is this a creative version of something else?

Date: 2007-10-07 02:31 am (UTC)Kythzia sounds like a hand-full, since it's so hard to say the "th" sound and then the "z" sound right after it. Xitlali is equally bad...honestly, who wants a name begining with the sound "zit?"

Date: 2007-10-07 02:38 am (UTC)I did a search on Xitlali. It's an Aztec name meaning "shining star", from what I've seen. Nothing really came up when I searched for Kythzia except as an alt for Cynthia.

Beryl is cute, but to me it sounds too masculine to be feminine, and too feminine to be masculine
