People, stop naming your kids Zachary. Seriously. Every time I turn my head, there's another Zachary/Zackery/Zakkcarey

I also don't get the appeal of Jackson. a) It's a surname, b) Michael Jackson?

Jackson Pollock, totally. Also Jackson Browne. I think of both of them before I even come close to thinking of Michael Jackson.

Ah well, I was an Art major, so I immediately think of Pollock. And Michael Jackson hasn't really registered on my pop-culture radar since Thriller, which was his last good album. I was, what, in 8th grade then?

According to Wikipedia, 22 states have a town called Jackson, so to a lot of people it's probably a place name. I'd certainly rather name my kid Jackson than Brooklyn or Dakota or Montana any day of the week! :)

I love the name Zachary :D

I like Zachary.

Ryan David, Matthew Daniel, Malcolm Joseph, Adrain Nicholas, Jackson Henry, Gavin Peter, Amelia, Colton, Cameron, Christopher, and Grace are all nice names.

I like Jackson, too, but that's because I like surnames. I never associate it with Michael Jackson. I just associate it with 'Jack.' It's a good solid name.

I don't really like the name Jackson (it is the epitome of surnames to me) but I do like the potential nickname of Jack, so it's alright.
