Do you know any families with names that all start with the same letter? I know a family with three kids that all start with M, and another one with 7 or 8 that all start with S.
Do you know any siblings with rhyming names? I don't.
My best childhood friend's family all had A names...the parents were Anthony and Anita...the kids...Audrey, Anna, Andrea (andie).
I knew brothers who were Billy and Bobby...
and the favorite twin names in the south apparently are Christy & Misty--I personally know *4* sets of twins with those names! I also knew a twin set (boy and girl) who were Shawn and Dawn.
Well, I went to target earlier. I overheard a woman in the bathroom talking on the phone who was planning on naming her twins Riley and Kylee. All the twins that I went to school with had names that started with the same letter. I never really noticed that until now, though. Hmm...
My grandpa (mom's dad, (first born)) was David Leo. My grandma (mom's mom) is Dorothy. My mom (first born) is Debbie Lee, with sister Dawn Michelle and David Michael. I (first born) am Melissa Lee, and my son (first born, around 12/14) will be Gavin Leo.
They all had the D thing, but we first borns all kept the Lee/Leo.
My grandma (mom's stepmom) is also Doreen. We joke that my grandfather and his second wife didn't work out because her name was Sharon.
My sisters and I all have the same middle name - Jane. It is also my Mum's middle name and my Cousin - although apparently with my cousin it was just a coincidence.
I know a family with four girls who all start with M - Molly, Madeline, Maggie and Maura. And of course the Duggars who have SEVENTEEN kids who all start with the letter J: Joshua John David Janna Jill Jessa Jinger Joseph Josiah Joy-Anna Jedidiah Jeremiah Jason James Justin Jackson Johannah Jennifer
My cousin married a man with a son Korie and they had a son together Kamren.
Our names all have four letter nicknames (though I don't use mine) Tony, Nick and Josh... That always amused me.. perhaps I'm the only one!
One of the boys at my daycare came from a birth family of VERY similar names (Christine was the mum)
Christine Christopher (son) Cristin (Kristen spelt with a C) (Daughter) Christina (daughter) Andreas (son, no clue where his name came from) Christian (Son) Christo (son)
Their names alwas amused me!
As for twins... My twins will be named Aleksei and Aubrey.. rhymeyish.. and same first letter.. but I like it alright.
I think "J" is the most popular name your kids with the same letter choice. I don't know why. I went to high school with a lot of large families (5+ kids) and a ton of them had all Js.
Oh, I completely forgot! My brother grew up with friends Kasey, Lacey, Macey, Stacy, and Tracy....sisters, of course! I met Macey and Lacey, if I'm not mistaken. That was years ago.
I went to high school with twins Rhonda and Vonda. I always felt poor Vonda came off worse. It sounds like someone trying to say "Wanda" with a bad Dracula accent.
