I sincerely doubt she is old enough to have watched that show, but yes, Blaire was the obnoxious materialistic one. Ahhh, good times. This make the name too 80's for me, though.

I don't like the Y myself. Too "Unique".

Actually, that's one of my all time favorite TV shows. (And the character in the show didn't spell her name with an e.) It's not where I first heard the name though. My mom almost named me Blair but decided not to because it was also a boy's name.

Blayre looks like a made up word, not a name.

I don't particularly like it, but it could be worse. I like it on a girl, and I really only like the spelling of Blaire. The others seem like they're trying to be "different" when the name isn't really that used to begin with. Plus, Blayre seems like a really...trendy version of the name. It's a spelling that I'd have a hard time taking seriously on an adult.

I do like it though, just not with a y. That seems a little tacky to me.
