Piper -- Middle Name

So we were talking about baby names this morning and, while he is dead set on this baby being a boy, we were trying to think of girl names (in his words) "just in case." I gave him my very short list of girl names (which I posted here last week, I think?) and Piper turned out to be his favourite, which is also pretty high on the list for me. However, I'm having a hell of a time trying to come up with a middle name that flows well with it. So I look to you once again :)

What would be a good middle name for Piper?

When I hear the name Piper, I always think of Piper Maru, Gillian Anderson's daughter and the name of an "X-Files" episode.

And after that, Piper Laurie...not the best namesake.

I've never heard of either of them.. well, I know who Gillian Anderson is but wasn't aware she had a daughter of any name, let alone Piper.. and I just googled Piper Laurie.. maybe I'm missing something but I'm a bit lost as to what's so wrong with them?

I'm a big Gillian Anderson fan, so I meant that in a good way. It's a cute name, too, although I guess it'd be out of the running now, to avoid a kid somewhere having to explain, "Yeah, so I was named after an 'X-Files' episode."

Piper Laurie, I just always immediately associate with her role as the insane mother in Carrie. So...

Oh, and all I meant as far as namesakes go is that Laurie immediately presents itself to my mind as a middle name for Piper, but that I wasn't actually recommending it, considering the connotations. Plus...Laurie...ew.

But I think Piper itself is a very cute name.

Ahh, gotcha! I misunderstood. I despise the name Laurie, it wouldn't be an option for me anyway but I had no idea who the actress was that played Margaret, so it never in a million years would have crossed my mind. I love old horror movies though so, honestly, this newfound (to me) Carrie connotation is just one more point for Piper!
