wdyt-some names from a story

I just finished reading the story "Miss Grief" by Constance Fenimore Woolson. It's a pretty decent short story. The primary female character is name Aaronna because her father was "so disappointed" that she wasn't a boy "he gave me as near as possible the name he had prepared for a boy-Aaron." I'm not really a fan of the name, although it looks...interesting. I would've thought that if you wanted to name your daughter the female equivalent of Aaron, you would've just gone with Erin. I dont think they have similar meanings and origins, but they sound...almost identical (at least they do when everyone I know says it).

another interesting name from the story is Ethelind. I think it's prettier than just plain Ethel, but I'm not a fan

Ick not really a fan of either. Erin definitely would've been a nicer choice.

Aaronna is crazy =P I would never have thought of Erin as an alternative for Aaron, but you're right, that one's much better! =)

morbid story

There's a little girl here in Colorado who's been missing for a couple of years now who's name is Aarone (accent on the e--not sure how to type that). Her father (who is suspected in her murder/disappearance) is named Aaron.
