My friend has two sons: Lowell (ryhmes with bowl) and Gerick (rhymes with Derrick). WDYT?

I've never really liked the names before, but for some reason they're starting to grow on me...

Lowell isn't too bad, reminds me of lowly, which isn't really that good. I don't like any boys names that start with L. And, it's just kinda, weird.

Gerick is just horrible IMO. I don't like Derrick or Eric... The G just makes it 100x worse, also. I don't like any boy names that start with G.

I like boy names that are strong and classic and there's nothing strong or classic about these names IMO.

Lowell is hard to pronounce, like the word "rural." And saying it rhymes with Bowl makes me think of the word "bowel"

Gerick, sounds like a joke. Limmerick. It's got such a harsh sound. Plus I hate Derrick.

I grew up with a boy named Gerick. Around about 5th grade I had a big crush on him. I like the name for that reason. :D

I like the name Lowell, but it will be linked with Mike Lowell if I were to name my kid that lol

I know a guy who's last name is Garrioch (pronounced like Garrick though) and his nickname is Gooch because of his last name. So...that's what that name makes me think of. lol
