Oct. 5th, 2005 01:49 pmI made a post a few weeks back about the nickname "Kit" and how the father isn't too thrilled about any name that Kit could stand for, but he's crazy about the name Kit. Now, what does everyone think about just naming her Kit by itself?

Date: 2005-10-05 01:00 pm (UTC)I think the fact that so many people suggested a "fall back" middle name shows that this is one she'll probably want to change.
And honestly - well, it sort of makes me think of a first-aid kit :( But that's just me...
Best of luck with it, and really, you should do what feels right for you, rather than listening to random strangers on the internet :) He hehe...

Date: 2005-10-05 03:35 pm (UTC)Have you considered:
Katy/Katie
Kathleen
Kaitlyn
Katrina
Katrin
Katarina
Kristina
Kristian
Kristin
But if you like it, in the end, that's all that matters. I have a friend named Connie, and she gets asked all the time if it's short for Constance. She says, "Nope, it's just Connie." and that's the end of it. She likes her name.
