The problem with Havala is that it's a Yiddish nickname for Chava. Something her grandmother would probably call her... My grandmother always called me Micheleh and my sister Daneleh instead of Michellle and Dani. But I love the name Chava. I agree with sly_soprano though that spelling it with an "h" takes the guttaral "ch" out of it.

I also like Mercy, Autumn, and Branwen.

Mercy- No way...I dont like the meaning of the word.
Havala- Too weird. Not a very pretty sound either.
Autumn- Really pretty
Branwen- All bran, breakfast cereal, sorry! I prefer Bronwen..but not a whole lot more
Elodie- It will grow on me i think, but right now it sounds like you're missing the 'm' off Melody.
Judith- Old fashioned but thats not a bad thing, I like the nn Judy/Jude
