VOTE on my Name List Here is an almost random collection of girl's first and middle names. As I've mentioned before, they are more likely to be used on pretend people than real people. No babies were harmed in the making of this list. Some of the entries are just me playing with middle names. Any and all suggestions are welcomed!!

(Helen and Justice are family names, as are any Ann dirivitives)

i like several...i have a 3month old, scarlett so that got a yes. i also have a 6 yr old girlie with the middle name james and had to vote yes for those. finally, my all-time favorite name, harper, was on your list. i'm still mourning not getting to name either of my girls harper. maybe i'll get one more chance and boy or girl, i can get a harper.

good names overall.

I don't like the spelling of Catharine, though I think it's a beautiful name in general. I think if you write fantasy, many of these names would fit in great. Of course for a human, they're outlandish. I do like some of your individual names a bit: Ianthe and Isolde are both names I like, but I don't love them together. I'd say them both with an "uh" at the end (or would want to at least), so the beginning and ending sounds as too similar. And they look quite similar written out. Maybe Ianthe Isadora would break it up a little differently?

I can't decide how I feel about Bronwen, though I think on a good character it would be spunky and cool. Or, alternatively, romantic. I like Petra and some of your names toward the end of the survey better. Names that aren't common but aren't too frilly or fantastic-sounding.

I prefer Catherine spelled with the "e" in the middle rather than the "a"--it's the more "usual" spelling I think, and thus a little easier for others to spell.

I guess I don't love the way Ianthe is said. Ha. In my head I guess it sounded different, though now I'm not sure how I was saying it. Hmm. I also speak German, so with Isolde I'm tempted to say "ee-SOL-deh" or something. But the real pronunciation is probably prettier. In any case, I still don't love the names together.
