Very cute; like Cody only less trendy. But I worry about how it will age. It's hard to imagine a 45-year-old Toby.

I like it...but I would pick out a longer name like tobious and call him toby so when he is older he will have another option cause i dont think it will age very well

I hope you mean Tobias. Because "tobious" just sounds weird.

My brother's cat's nickname is Toby. I dont know the cats full name. I like it :) but I'd use it for a pet.

I'm from alabama and my cousin's husband's name is Toby. And I actually went to school with several Tobys, and I know one guy who went to church with me named TOby. Maybe it's a common name in the South? I like it though :) And I think it ages well-all of the Tobys I know are now in their late 20's early 30, and 1 in his 50s and it seems to fit them pretty well...

I like it, and think it'll age fine. Although the only one I can remember in person was my puppy, but to be fair, my 2 year old son (at the time) named him that :P

I like it. I think it can age well, but I'd go with Tobias just in case he does want something more "impressive" down the line.
