No my family is not jewish but I dont see why that would matter, My name is catherine and the origin of that name is greek and im not greek. I saw the name in the credits at a movie once and the guys name was Cohen ....(forgot the last name lol) And I love it

Cohen is a surname and should not be used as a first name. That being said, Cohen Patrick sounds better. Gabriel Patrick, however, is by far a lot better.

I think Patrick sounds better with both. I dislike Parker, but if I had to choose, I'd say Cohen Patrick and Gabriel Parker.

i adore the coen brothers and leonard cohen. i vote cohen patrick and gabriel parker. you can call them (as a group) CP/GP like you know, CBGBs of NYC. or not. it's early here. i just woke up.

yeah, that makes no difference to me. i love surnames as first names, they're strong and sturdy. just think, if that were a real rule, we'd have no williams, scotts, or roberts.

in the way of little girls...when the mother has a pretty surname, i think it's so adorable when the little girl carries it as a middle name like Mary Scott, or Mary Lane, etc.

(coen brothers do movies like raising arizona, big lebowski, fargo, etc. and leonard cohen is a popular "underground" poet and songwriter)
