I *love* Seth, I had planned to use it for a middle name for my next boy, but my bf wants to use a family name. I think we're kind of keeping it as a 'backup' name.
heh i'm TTC baby #3 right nwo and just last night my husband and I settled on the name Seth for a boy :) I have always loved it and I only know 2 people personally with this name :)
It's my boyfriend's name so I hear it all the time.
I don't really care for it though, it's too soft sounding and it's hard to say clearly. When introducing him people often say "What was it?" and I have to repeat or spell it out. It's just not quite common enough that people recognize what I'm saying. That annoys me.
Also, it's really too religious/biblical for my taste (I am not Judeo-Christian, so those style names aren't usually my taste.)
Seth is also a character on THE O.C. (from what i am told) I have always liked that name... there were 2 brothers at my church long time ago and their names were Evan and Seth. I always liked it.
I love this name. I'm kind of glad I'm not hearing it much these days 'cause it's one of those I want to use if I have a boy in the next couple of years.
(I've also seen it spelled Ceth which interests me as well) :)
Seth- Nerd Chic. i like it.. I think it's going to grow in popularity though, names from popular tv shows usually do & Seth is from the OC. I now know a lot of unborn babies possibly going to be named seth!
