Wdyt of the sibset:
Elodie, Daniel 'Dan' & Lila?
I'm really loving all these names lately (Well, actually I've always loved Lila, then I forgot about it for awhile, and now it's back)
Also, what do you think of my friend's names?
Vanessa Paris/Perry Claire (She can't decide on Paris or Perry)
Chloe Denise Mandy (I told her it didn't flow, but she's set on it)
Thanks a bunch! :)

Date: 2005-09-24 11:52 am (UTC)I adore the name Elodie. Daniel is probably my most favorite normal/popular/common name. (I don't like Dan though, only the full form Daniel.) Lila is not a favorite, but it's really nice and I think it sounds good with the other two.
Vanessa Paris Claire sounds a lot better than Perry Claire, which is too rhymey. I'd MUCH prefer Vanessa Claire. Three name combos rarely sound good too me.
Chloe is nice, common, but nice. I dislike both Denise and Mandy and don't think the three names play well off each other in the combo at all.

Date: 2005-09-24 12:05 pm (UTC)Elodie - This is french isn't it? At a daycare i worked at there was a french teacher (she was also french), and she had a daughter at the daycare called Elodie, and she was the sweetest girl, so i have a good association with this name. I also think its very pretty anyway.
Daniel - I love this name for a boy, i think it's too common though (here in the UK anyway)
Lila - I've loved this name for ages as well. Whenever i mention it to anyone in real life though they look at me as though i'm mad, my cousin says it sounds like an old lady's name. I think it's really pretty

Date: 2005-09-24 12:20 pm (UTC)Vanessa - too 8's imo, but not horrible
Paris/Perry - Don't like it at all.
Claire - Cute.
Chloe - Ok.
Denise - Way too old.
Mandy - Same.
And you're right, they don't flow. Anyway, just my opinions.

Date: 2005-09-24 12:25 pm (UTC)I hate, HATE trendy names like Perry and Paris. It makes them sound vapid and silly.
Chloe Denise without the Mandy is good.
Vanessa Claire without the Perry/Paris crap is good.
I have to ask, why is she trying for 3 names a piece? First and middle are all anyone really needs.

Date: 2005-09-24 12:41 pm (UTC)I prefer Vanessa Paris over Perry Claire, but I prefer Vanessa Claire the best. And I don't think that Chloe Denise Mandy flows very well, either. Mandy Denise or Chloe Denise sound fine, but I don't like the three together.

Date: 2005-09-24 02:17 pm (UTC)I love Lila, and Daniel will be our son's middle name.
My name is Mandy, and well...it's not my favorite.
I don't like Chloe or Denise.
Vanessa is very pretty.
Paris reminds me of Paris Hilton, or Michael Jackson's kid. Eww...
Perry is a boy's name...I don't like it for a girl at all.

Date: 2005-09-24 02:35 pm (UTC)I have taken to liking Paris for a boy... And I've only heard Perry for a boy, so it is a boy name to me.
Chloe Denise Mandy is a slight disaster, in my opinion. Ha. Chloe Denise wouldn't be bad. Kind of French... Then Mandy. What?
Vanessa and Claire are nice. Vanessa Claire... Claire Vanessa. I think I prefer Claire Vanessa, but either way works.
