I have recently fallen in love with the name Shane (probably because I watched A Walk to Remember and ER recently). I really like it because it's easy to spell/pronounce, it's not too weird and you don't hear it very often. What do you think of it?

My best friend in elementary school was named Shane! He had a stutter, but I thought his name was the coolest ever. Also, my favorite rugby player is named Shane. So yeah, I like it.

It's my 2 year old cousin's name. His full name is Shane Lance Carr. I dont like the combination but his father's name is Lance. It's a okay name. Not my favorite, but it's okay.

I had neighbors named Travis and Shane, and I instantly fell in love with too because it's not that common whereas travis is. I'd be hesitant on the middle names, because that would probably be a tad tricky or what not. but I think it's perfect, and it's one of my own options too.
