How on earth do you pronounce it? Kay-a? Key-a? Keye-a? Don't get me wrong, I like all three versions, but I can't decide where to go with this one. My first instinct is Keye-a, like Gaia and Maia, but I'm not sure other people feel the same way.
Assuming Keye-a as the pronounciation, I like:
Kaia Jane Kaia Isabelle Kaia Louise Kaia Verity Kaia Patrice Kaia Henrietta Kaia Ophelia Kaia Sophia
I like it. It's pretty, and makes me think of Hawaii. I like Hawaii. =) LOL. Anyway... Kaia Annette Kaia Annabel Kaia Charlotte Kaia Deanne Kaia Elaine Kaia Emily (love this one even though I hate Emily, lol) Kaia Grace Kaia Giselle Kaia Jenelle Kaia Jade Kaia Loraine Kaia Rosalie Kaia Violet
I love it and considered using it for awhile (because we really like the Hebrew name Chaya but thought my non-Jewish family would never be able to pronounce it). Also a plus was that it is the name of Willow's wife in the movie Willow (which I love).
I quite like it. I knew a girl called Kaija (pronounced the same way) and it suited her so well =) I find it hard to come up with good middle names though, sorry!
Um, I would not use Kaia Giselle, just because if people recognize Kaia from Willow, they would also recognize the name Giselle being the wizard-lady from the same movie! :P
Kaia Deanne, that sounds really good, and so does Kaia Janelle. I like two-sylable names with the emphasis on the second sylable with Kaia. Loraine falls into this catergory, too -- just don't love that name.
I know a really cute little girl named Kaia. Probably wouldn't use the name myself but like it for someone else. :) (Incidentally her mn is Margherita, pronounced like the drink, after her great grandmother I think)
i find Kaia to be so beautiful. i love almost any name with the hard 'k' sound.
i think Kaia is one of those names that would go well with any middle name, as long as it didn't start with a vowel sound (like Angela or Ellen or something).
