it's hardly on my list to use, but I don't dislike it. I'd probably be charmed if I met a nice person with the name. and I'm thinking girls only.

My brother's MIL is named Sharon, as was everyone else of her generation not named Donna or Linda, and she's gone by Shea for years.
I went to college with a girl who called herself Shay, short for Shannon, but that's not as pretty IMO.
I have *never* met a male Shea.
