Sep. 5th, 2007 09:00 pmI may have posted these before so sorry if I'm repeating myself. I just still need more opinions.
Ok first of all I love the name Caoimhe (pn Kee-va) but I'm afraid of the pn problems with it. People have misprounouced my name a lot and I hate it...I don't really want to do that to my daughter ya know. I'm not in an area where everyone is Irish (I'm in New York so its very mixed) so my question is...
Caoimhe or Keeva.
second of all...what do you think of these names. All are for girls.
Caoimhe/Keeva
Thea
Taylor
Justine
Eliana
Delilah
Callie
thanks

Date: 2007-09-06 01:33 am (UTC)I love Thea and Delilah. Not a big fan of Justine or Taylor because I think of them as guy names. Eliana is pretty, but I think of Elian Gonzales. Callie is what my sister calls the state of California, and it drives me crazy.

Date: 2007-09-06 02:36 am (UTC)I really like Justine and Callie. Taylor is too unisex, but it could be worse. Delilah and Eliana are okay, but not ones I've choose. Thea is okay, again, but I'm not a big fan of it, at all. Justine and Callie are really cute, though.

Date: 2007-09-06 02:37 am (UTC)Thea- This is cute, but I think I like Theo better
Taylor- Gah. Unisex, and incredibly 80s sounding to me.
Justine- I think of an annoying chubby girl I knew in elementary school.
Eliana- Christian Slater's daughter who... isn't... terribly adorable.
Delilah- I like this! Now, I'm not religious at all or anything, but it does seem to be infamous because of the story, so I'd re-think it perhaps.
Callie- Like it.

Date: 2007-09-06 09:46 am (UTC)I love Taylor, Justine and Callie for girls!
I was going to use Callie or Kelly (I'm aware they don't sound exactly the same) as short for Calia :)
How are you pronouncing Justine? I'm only familiar with the french version

Date: 2007-09-06 10:41 am (UTC)As for the rest of your names; I like Eliana and Delilah is growing on me. I don't like Callie, because I just don't like any Kelly variants, and I don't like Justine & Thea because I think they are old-fashioned. Thea in particular.
Taylor...it's ok =)
