Of these 2 girl's names? for girl's
-Sterling Yvette
-Layna Jacelynne ( thats is Jace - lynne not Jaclyn or Jacqueline)

A lot of people are surprised yet really like Sterling.
Layna is phonetical spelling of my Husband's Oma's Nickname.. *phew* her full name was Leonardia they called her Leena (Layna.. He's dutch btw)
we thought for sure everyone would call her Lee-na if we spell it Leena/Lena.. we don't want that so we took Layna.
People think it's short for Alayna..

I don't like any of those combos. I have only known boys named Sterling (2). Layna I really like, but Jacelynne is not nice-sounding to me. Jace sounds VERY Masculine and kind of gross, for some reason, like mace or race...I don't know... and that nae does look like a misspelling of Jaclyn.

My vote is for Layna Yvette.

I think Sterling Yvette is horrible, sorry.

Layna is quite pretty but I agree with [livejournal.com profile] mrsduryee about Jacelynne.

I had a friend named Alayna in high school. We called her Layna. So yeah, I can see why people would think that. Perhaps Leyna if you're dead-set on it?

Sterling is a very masculine-sounding name.

Jacelynne sounds made-up and ... just ick.

Never cared for the name Yvette (or any names that start with Y, for that matter).

Sterling Yvette is too...sharp, I guess, for my taste. Sterling is a male name to me. And I just can't say Jacelynne right, I want to say Jace-elle-een.

I like Sterling, but not Yvette, and I like Leyna, but not Layna, and not Jacelynne.

I like the sound of Layna just not that spelling. I think it should be spelled Laina or Leyna, or maaaaybe Leina, but I think she would get lee-na with that spelling also.
I assumed Jacelynn was a strange spelling of Jacqueline. It sounds silly and made up to me. I do like Jace as a nickname a whole lot though, and the names actually flow together pretty well. I think Jocelyn or Jacqueline/Jaclyn are better.
I like Yvette, just not paired with Sterling. I just don't really like Sterling at all.

I like Sterling, but I think it'd sound even better with a more feminine name =)
I don't like Jacelynn, but I do like Layna! (heh, I'm Dutch =) I like that you call her oma even though you guys are English speaking =))

Stirling...
