a good friend of mine from high school is having a baby boy in december (12-11 is her due date). these are the names she & her husband have picked out:

Asher Logan
Asher Orion
Asher James

or

Derrick Logan
Derrick Orion
Derrick James

honestly, i'm not too keen on any of the middle name pairings with either first name. i like the name Asher quite a bit, & Derrick, too... her original name she liked was: Garrett Blake. i dunno why she trashed that name, but i kind of liked it.

Asher James is GORGEOUS. I really like Derek, but Derrick looks weird to me. Which is weird, since the only Dereks I know spell it Derrick, haha. But I like Derek better. I still think James sounds best as a middle name, but I like Derrick Logan, too.

Garrett Blake is great! I don't like Blake that much, but it sounds great with Garrett, and I LOVE that name.
