What do you think of any of those? Anything too cruel? Can anyone think of nice permutations of those names that I haven't listed?

Matthew is my brother's name, and John is my father's name, although I prefer the Scottish version (Ian) if I'm going to use it.

They're nice names by themselves, but I wouldn't pair Malachi with Matthew (I'm just not a fan of most alliteration in names) or Tristan with Landon because they both end the same and that sounds a bit strange.

I'm not a fan of the name Xavier. But all of the other names you've listed are great. I especially like Patrick Bailey. Or Oliver Patrick.

Ditto on Morgan, its pretty much a girls name now. I like Malachi a lot, but I wouldnt go with it. Its too odd, and the boy would probably be made fun of.

I really like Ian Matthew. Morgan Matthew is nice, too, but it's given to so many girls nowadays that I'd be a bit hesitant about using it for a boy. :(

Adrien Xavier -Not my style..

Gabriel Matthew -Ok.

Andrew Xavier -I love the first name Andrew [nickname 'Drew'] but Xavier is just not my style..

Ian Matthew or Ian Andrew -Ian Matthew is a great name. I love it. Ian Andrew doesn't flow quite as well.. too many vowel sounds I think.

Malachi Matthew -Not my style..

Tristan Landon -They both end in a similar sound.. doesn't sound right.

Morgan Matthew -Not a fan of the double M sound.

Patrick Bailey -I think I would like Bailey Patrick better actually.

Oliver Patrick -Not my style..

I like most of them, maybe not all the pairings. I've never understood this recent thing with Malachi, I really dislike the name, yet it's so popular. Tristan is a special favorite, we have it picked out as a boy's name for our next child.

If you really liked morgan, you could use John Morgan (and call him the full name). I knew a guy with that name and I have always thought it was cute.

I like all of the names except Tristan Landon-since they both endings sound the same it's kinda awkward but I like both names if paired with something else. Tristan Alexander is my son's name...

Malachi doesn't go very well with Matthew, perhaps pair Malachi with a different name, or switch the order they are in. Matthew Malachi, sounds better than Malachi Matthew does, in my humble opinion.
