I love Savannah... :) My favorite girls name. If my son was a girl, I would have had Savannah Rae. :)

I like Susanna but I don't like the "h" on the end of it.

And Paris, as much as I loved it a few years ago, I think has damage done to it now. :( Unfortunately.

And whenever I see Suri... I think:

llama.

Lorelei is my favorite and a current on our list for possibly baby names for this little girl (due in two weeks!)

Paige is our oldest daughter's middle name. And I really wish we would have saved it for a first name. I love it.

Leah - I adore this name. It's one of my favorites.
Leila (pn. Lay-luh) - I really like this one, and I definitely prefer this spelling over Layla. I think it works really nicely as a middle name, although I'd be hesitant to use it because of the Star Wars reference.
Lorelei - I like it, a lot, but I'd be hesitant to use it because of the popularity of Gilmore Girls.
Mackenzee - I really dislike this name, but if it IS used, I'd go with Mackenzie. This spelling seems unnecessarily cutesy/trendy.
Madison - I can't stand this name, at all. I know some people like it, but...ugh.
Makenna - see above.
Malaya - Definitely don't like.
Mia - I adore it, but it seems too short for a formal name. I prefer it as a nickname for something like Amelia or Miranda.
Michaela - Not my style, but a really nice name nonetheless.
Natalie - Love it.
Neela - Not one I'd use, but I do like it.
Neva - Again, not one I'd use, but it's okay.
Neve - I like it, but I've seen posts you've made before saying that you'd pronounce it like Nee-ve; I think most people would end up pronouncing it Nev, like Neve Campbell, the actress.
Noelle - Not one I'd use, but it's okay. I like it as a middle name.
Olivia - As I said about Emily last night, a lot of people think it's overused, but I think it's a gorgeous, classic name.
Paige - It's okay, but not one I'd use
Paris - Regardless of Paris Hilton references, I hate this name. But right now, it's probably the LAST name you're going to want your kid to be associated with.
Peyton - Not a fan, at all. It's way too trendy-sounding.
Quinn - Okay, but not one I'd use.
Rhiannon - Not a fan.
Sariah - Definitely not. It looks like a typo of Sarah, so you'll get a lot of mispronunciations and misspellings, and people who assume that it's Sarah, no matter how many times you correct them.
Savannah - I really dislike this name.
Scarlett - Love it.
Shyla - See Madison/Mackenzie/Makenna.
Siobhan - I like the way this name LOOKS, but the way it SOUNDS makes me think of some trailer trash chick.
Skylar - I really don't like this one, either.
Suri - It's growing on me. I used to hate it, but I found out it's the Yiddish (right?) version of Sarah (or is it some other name?). Anyway, regardless of what language it is, I don't dislike it as much as I used to. But people will associate it with Tom Cruise, which would be enough to make ME cross the name off my list.
Susannah - Okay, but not one I'd use.
Taylor - I don't like this name on girls; I prefer it on a boy.
Thea - I like Theo, on a boy, but Thea just...I don't know. I'm just not a fan.
Valeria - I like Valerie, but Valeria looks like you're trying to femininize an already feminine name.
Vanessa - Not one I'd use, but I do like it.
Violet - Not a fan of color names.
Zoe - Not one I'd use, but I do like it.

Is there a Star Wars reference that I'm missing, or do you mean Leia?

Um, ooops. I KNEW her name was Leia, hahahahaha. Really I did. It was a momentary lapse of sanity, I promise, lol.

well, automatic points for Olivia, and Noelle - some of my favorites.

Names like Madison, Mackenzee, Paige, and Taylor annoy me, honestly. They just, IMO, have kind of a new-agey cutsey sound.

I agree with you 1,000% about Siobhan, sadly.

And Sarah is just gorgeous - classic, wintery, crystal, blue gorgeous.

Leah- I like it and I pronounce it the Hebrew way (LAY-uh)

Lorelei (despite being spelled differently from the character) is far too much associated with Gilmore Girls to ever become a normal name, I think.

I really like Neva, and Neve, but Neve would be said nev, as in the actress. Neev sounds too weird for me.

I knew a Thea Maria.
I would NEVER name my kid Madison.
I have a cat named Violet that's sleeping next to me right now!
