Abigail (nn Abbie) - I prefer Abby with a y, but either spelling is great, and I LOVE this name. It's classic and works on both a child and an adult, and it's just...a nice name :)
Ada - I like it, but it seems kind of old fashioned to me. I think there are other names that are "classic," where they fit any age, instead of old fashioned, where I have a hard time seeing a little kid with that name. That said, I'd much rather see a three-year-old Ada than a fifty year old Madison, so use it if you like it.
Adria - really not a fan. It seems too cutesy. This seems more in the Madison category in the description I gave for Ada.
Adriana - I prefer Adrienne. I'm really not a fan of this one. It's slightly better than Adria, but I still feel like it's too cutesy.
Alana - I really like this one. It's not one I'd use, but I like it a lot.
Alexandra - LOVE this name. So much. Definitely a favorite, right up there with Abigail.
Alisha - It's okay, but it seems kind of like a dated trendy name. Like, there were a lot of Alishas there for a while, and now it seems like Ashley or Jessica, where it's very...80s, or something. Not necessarily 80s, probably more mid-90s.
Amelia - I adore this name. Right up there with Alexandra & Abigail.
Anastasia - Like it, but I don't love it. It's definitely one I'd keep on the list.
Anneliese (nn Annie) - I like it, but I prefer it spelled Annalise. It seems neater, and more to-the-point. I do really like Annie, though.
Anya - Like it, but not really one I'd use.
Arielle - This one is totally growing on me, and quickly. I say keep it. Do you pronounced it like Ariel (Air-ee-el), or like the letters R-E-L? I like it better the latter way.
Ashlyn - Not a fan, at all. It seems like a trendier version of Ashley.
Asia - Not a fan, at all. Place names do nothing for me, and Asia always bothers me, especially when it's used on little Irish/Italian girls, which it tends to be. It just seems weird to me to see a little girl named Asia, whose ancestors were quite obviously from England, Ireland, France, Denmark, Italy, etc.
Aubrey - Like it, but I prefer Audrey. I like Aubrey better on a boy.
Audrey - I adore this name. Definitely keep it.
Aurora (nn Rory) - Not a fan. I know a couple girls by this name and they're constantly getting asked, "Aurora? Like Aurora borelais?" And I know I'd get SO annoyed with it. Besides, I really just don't like the name, at all.
Ava - It's okay, but it seems really overused lately, and I think you have much nicer ones on your list.
Avery - I dislike unisex names in general, but this one is one I hate the most. It just...ugh. I dislike the name overall, but on a girl, it's even uglier. I think you have MUCH nicer names on your list than this one.
Ayla - Too trendy-sounding for me, much like Ashlyn.
Brea - It's okay, but I think I like it better as a nickname for something like Brianne or Briana.
Brooke - Not my style, at all. You have much nicer ones on the list.
Brynn - see above
Calla - I adore this name. It's really classic sounding to me.
Callie - Like it, but I think it works better as a "pet" form of Calla.
Cambria - Isn't there a band or something named this? I don't know, I'm just not liking it at all.
Camryn - I dislike Cameron, but the misspelling, and the use on a girl, just bugs me. I don't like it, at all.
Cara - Love it.
Carina - Like it, but there are others I like more.
Carrie - Love it, but I like it more as a nickname for something like Caroline or Carolyn or something.
Cassandra - I really like this.
Charlotte - One of my favorites.
Christina - Like it, but not my style. It's nice, though, and refreshing, because it's not used that often anymore.
Claire - I love it. I think it makes a really cute middle name, too.

wow, I agreed with just about everything you wrote, hehe.

The exception? Aurora: Despite the the obivious Borealis jokes, the name makes me think of Sleeping Beauty, and the gorgeous Bjork song. It's just very ethereal sounding to me.

But we both abhor cutesy names, awesome.

I DO abhor cutesy names, lol. I like names that are cute on a little girl, but work well on an adult, too, which is how I end up with o9ld fashioned names like Eleanor and Louisa on my list.

Ada Eh, it suited the characters in the Piano and Cold Mountain but I have problems seeing it on a little girl.

I like Abigail, Alana, Arielle, Aurora, Aubrey, Ava, Brooke & Cara. They are pretty and cute =)!
I don't like Ada & Carina, because they sound old fashioned to me, I don't like Alisha & Callie, just because I don't like any form of Alicia or Kelly, and I don't like Carrie, Cassandra and Alexandra...I'm just not a fan.
As for the remaining names, I'm indifferent about them.

Abigail (nn Abbie)- I'd probably like it more if it weren't so trendy.

Adria- Looks unfinished.
Adriana- I'm not a big fan of this one. Adrienne is nice to me.
Alana- Too... eighties. Kind of tacky.
Alexandra- This is nice.
Alisha- Same as Alana.
Amelia- This is a really pretty name, but I can't get the birth defect out of my head, nor meal worms.
Anastasia- This is beautiful, but wow, it reeks of Romanovs. Hard to escape.
Anneliese (nn Annie)- I like Annie, but Anneliese looks like a bunch of letters just thrown together. Annelise is nicer.
Anya- Yeah, this is definitely a favourite.

Ada -a little short for my taste, if I used it I would probably spell it Adah
Adria - Not that I think this is an overly popular name but somehow it does seem a little trendy to me
Adriana - I've know ALOT of people named either Adrian or Adriana so it's hard to give it no associations
Alana- LOVE IT! Elana is my middle name and Ilana is my Hebrew name but I kind of wish it wasn't cos I'd love to use it for a daughter.
Alexandra -ok but one of those names that are just blah for me like Jennifer, Christina and Michelle.
Alisha - I don't really care for the name or the spelling used here
Amelia - I adore, adore, adore this name!
Anastasia -lovely as long as it is pronounced An-ah-STAZZ-ee-ah and the nick name "Stacey" is never used.

Arielle - I don't like it. I think that's because I really like Ariel on a boy.
Ashlyn -don't like at all, it seems a mash of two names

Brooke- a skinny, popular girls name, seems a little stuck up
