What do you plan on using for a middle name... not that I'd use the *same exact name* but wondering what to work it with. The family names I wanted to use as middle names aren't sounding right.
Hmmm... I'm really bad at combos so I'm trying not to think about it until I am actually getting ready to name a child. The only combo I'm sure about is my first daughter: Lorraine Channing.
Renne Elizabeth maybe. I think Elizabeth is a universally-suitable middle name, but I wouldn't use it. Too blah to me.
Renne Michelle. Popped into my head. Renne... hmmm... I'm drawing a blank.
Oh yeah I was thinking Renne Elisabeth - that's my husband's maternal grandmother's name and I want to use it as a middle name. So even though it's so over used, it'd be a family thing and it would mean a lot to my mother-in-law I think. She's German so they use an s instead of z in the name.
I was also thinking Lilly Elisabeth, but I'm really liking Renne now.
Haha my husband just TOTALLY vetoed the name out. He said even if it's spelled differently he automatically thinks of Ren & Stimpy and he will not allow it.
Wren reminds me too much of the bird. Ren looks incomplete, plus makes me think of ren & stimpy lol Renne- as someone up there suggested- isn't bad, actually.
I've thought up the name Ren for a girl as well, inspired by the O'Ren Ishii character in Kill Bill vol.1 -check it out, if you never have, it might even convince your hubby ;) But I've been struggling about what names it could be a nickname for, since it's too short in my taste to be a name on its own.
The first one off the top of my head today is Renard, which is not typically a name, but the french word for 'fox'. But it makes me think of names like Leonard, that means 'as strong as a lion'.

Another one that comes to mind is Renée, but I personally don't like.
