If your name is Beth, do people make this pun about you? Do you enjoy it [Y/N]? If your name is not Beth, do people make any sort of pun about your name? Should Beth become a word and not just a name used for a pun? If so, what would Beth mean?

People make fun of the name Beth? My name's not Beth, obviously, but it seems like a waste of time to tease the people with the name.

Becky, I can understand. Stacey, if you're a Goofy Movie fan. But Beth? I don't get the fun in it. Makes one sound like she has a lisp. -.-

Becky is a common "white" name that's made fun of, like Shaniqua is a common "black" name thar's made fun of. And the Stacey thing is from this (http://youtube.com/watch?v=8bLox94zlFc), though most people wouldn't blink an eye at the name.

Oh, and I got the comic. XD At the risk of being a mean older sibling, that's how my baby sis talks at times.

That comic is hilarious. But no, I've never heard Beth being made fun of.

LOL. I just read that comic to my best friend, whose name just happens to be Beth, and she tells me that she's never encountered those jokes in her life (and hopes that she never does).
