Date: 2007-08-27 08:15 am (UTC)I think if Lily weren't so popular I'd like it better. With a simple, common name like Lily I'd like a child to have more options, which a middle name might provide. But in the case of Austen, it's quite masculine and is not the same spelling as the common male given name, which complicates things as well.
