I like Nathan James, and that's about it. Jake is definitely a boy's name - it's not arguable like Ashley, Morgan, or Lindsay.

When I first saw Cash Dimmitt, I definitely "Dimwitt" instead. Food for thought.

There are some names on your list that I love (Laura Jean, Nathan James, Charlotte Christine), and others that just ...

Please, please please please please do not name your daughter Kyle, Chandler, Colby, or Jake. I just...beg of you. I totally don't understand the appeal of naming your daughter a boy's name, and I can pretty much guarantee (knowing girls with boys names) that your daughter probably won't understand or appreciate it, either.

I'd actually much rather see you name your daughter something trendy like Brooke Lynne than Jake or Kyle.

What about Christine Grace, or Grace Christine?

Just to be helpeful, off the names on your list, I came up with these combos:

Charlotte Faith
Charlotte Grace
Charlotte Jean
Charlotte Marie
Grace Charlotte
Grace Christine
Grace Chandler (not a huge fan of this name, but if you feel the need to use it, PLEASE make it a middle name)
Laura Grace
Laura Charlotte
Laura Faith
Laura Kyle (again...)
Laura Christine

Those are all gorgeous names, and I can guarantee that they're not going to cause your daughter emotional trauma when everyone assumes she's a boy with names like Jake, Colby, Chandler, and Kyle.

Or what about Kiley? Much more feminine, and a nice name, too.

Kiley Grace
Kiley Charlotte
Kiley Jean
Kiley Christine
Kiley Faith

Also, I agree with [livejournal.com profile] ouronlylight about Cash Dimmitt.

I prefer Scott Desmond and Cole Mackenzie, but otherwise, they aren't TOO bad. I think Scott Desmond, Cole Mackenzie, and Nathan James are all nice. Nathan James is one of my favorites, though. Good choice on that one.

I think Laura Jean is a great name, so definitely keep that one. It's the boys-names-as-girls-names that I'd really push you to rethink.

Like.. Brooklyn... New York?

Sorry.. I didn't meant to offend, if I did. I didn't mean it in a snarky tone! Really, I apologize. It was just my initial gut reaction of... Brooklyn??

OH! And since I feel bad that I may have insulted one of your possible name choices, I'll compliment two.

I LOVE Nathan James. It sounds very "commanding", very strong. I also like Cash as a first name. And I think this is the first time I've seen it and said.. Hey! That's a great name!

Chandler, Kyle & Jake are boys names... Definately
I agree - Dimmitt looks like Dimwitt.

I LOVE Nathan James though!

Dimmit made me think of 'dammit!', so I didn't like that one. And I love Brooke, just not in combination with Lynne =) Nathan James & Laura Jean are just beautiful.

I'm sorry, but I really dislike most of your names, due to kr8v spelling and the use of overtly male names on girls.
The only ones I like are Desmond Scott and Brock Mackenzie.

We have very different taste in names. But I like Laura Jean! And Desmond, actually.

Sorry, the only ones I can stand are Laura Jean, Charlotte Christine and Cole Bennett (and I don't like Bennett much tbh).

Dimmitt sounds like someone with a weird accent saying dammit.

I don't know... I'm from Santa Clarita Valley and work at a pretty large call center and I don't know anyone named Brooklyn =-\

Yeah... that's strange. I like the name Ryan for a girl. But Tanner? I've never heard that being used for a girl and can't picture it. My boyfriend's nephew's name is Tanner. lol
