My list of names, this is EVERY suggestion a person has given us so far. Very diverse.
I hate most of them lol but I wanted to give each name a chance.

I voted :D

I like Daniel Pacey a lot but if you're going to call him Pacey, why not just name him Pacey Daniel?

oh! well then it makes sense to continue with that. just the reason why i mentioned it was... i wanted to name my son phillip alexander and call him xander. my boyfriend opposed it so we switched it to alexander phillip. even though i still think that phillip alexander just flows better.

I dislike the idea of using middle names as the nickname. I mean, if you're going to call your son Ash, why not name him Asher Bailan instead? If you have a reason to do so, I get that (if he's named after someone or something), but it was like almost every name, so I'm just wondering, lol.

I really like Daniel, Asher, James, Alexander, Brent, Sean, Andrew, Brandon, Jonas, Brett, Michael, Joshua, Joseph, and Anthony, but I dislike a lot of the pairings. For instance, Bailan, Pacey, Rylan, Hunter, Tayden, Denver, and Dylan all seem really trendy, and a few of them (Rylan and Tayden) seem totally made up.

I wanted to make the following suggestions of names, but feel free to ignore:

*Asher James
Asher Ryan
Asher Sean
Asher Michael
Asher Brent
*Asher Joseph
*Brett Alexander
Brett Michael
Brett Asher
*James Michael
*James Andrew
James Alexander
*James Asher
James Anthony
*Anthony Michael
Anthony James
Anthony Joshua
*Anthony Brett
Anthony Brent
Sean Michael
Sean Ryan (I like this WAY better than Rylan)
*Sean Andrew
Sean Anthony
*Andrew James
Andrew Brett
Andrew Brent
*Andrew Michael
*Andrew Joseph
*Joseph Andrew
*Joseph Michael
Joseph Asher
(* are ones I really like)

For the girls, I like a lot more of your names. Katherine, Julia, Audrey, Charlotte, Paige, Hannah, Rachel, Rebekah, Elizabeth, Sarah, Anna, and Hope are my favorites. The only ones I really dislike are Sonnet, because (a) I don't like word names, and (b) everyone will say Sahn-et, like the poem, and Malerie (Mallory is nicer), Austen, Marianella, Evangeline, and Maylie.

Of your combos, I like Hannah Rachel, Rebekah Faith, Julia Katherine, Katherine Adelina, and Anna Caitlin. And some others I wanted to suggest:

Katherine Paige
Katherine Hope
Katherine Julia
Katherine Rebekah
Katherine Hannah
Katherine Rachel
Julia Hope
Julia Paige
Julia Rachel
Anna Rachel
Anna Katherine
Anna Hope
Anna Charlotte
Charlotte Hope
Charlotte Rebekah
Charlotte Rachel

Charlotte Paige
Charlotte Katherine
Audrey Rachel

Audrey Hope
Audrey Elizabeth

I think it just makes things more confusing. I mean, the class list in school is going to say John, and then you have to tell everyone, "I go by David," and then explain why. It doesn't really matter, I guess, because if people in your family do that repeatedly, then obviously it's not a huge problem. I just think it'd be easier.

I'm glad I could help with suggestions :)

Do you go by Jane, or by a nickname for Elizabeth?

But that's what I mean, it just makes it more difficult. I plan to name my kids after family members, but I'm going to use those names (Margaret, Michael, Timothy) as middle names so that they don't have to go by something other than their first name and confuse everyone.

I know some guys who are named after their fathers (ex: Paul Joseph, Jr.) and who go by their middle names instead of their first, and I totally understand that (although I don't like the idea of naming your child after yourself), but otherwise it just seems easier to use the name you'll call your child as their first name.

Oh, nevermind. I missed the part of your comment where you said "so they called me Jane." Hahaha. Now I feel stupid.

But she noted that Sonnet was to be pronounced "soh-NAY." Oh dear.

Oh, I'm glad you pointed that out to me. I failed to notice that. If OP really wants the name "Sonnet" to be that way, please spell it Sonee, like Renee, or something similar. No one will say it properly, and Sonnet, said the phonetic way, is a perfectly lovely middle name.
